A volunteer legal service run by Easton Legal in partnership with the Noble Park Community Centre.
How it began
Our Story
Last year, Gamini Jayasinghe happened upon the Noble Park Community Centre.
Invited to do a presentation to disability carers, he had reluctantly agreed not knowing what to expect. Upon his arrival, he witnessed firsthand a hive of activity, a compassionate Centre Manager (Grissel Walmaggia), her devoted team, and above all, a community working together.
In a passing comment, Gamini suggested the venue would be perfect for a volunteer legal service — and so began the Noble Park Volunteer Legal Service.
What We Do
Free Service
NPVLS is a free legal service which means you do not pay for your appointment. We may direct you to other providers, paid or unpaid, depending on your situation.
1:1 Appointments
Appointments are conducted in person at the Noble Park Community Centre with volunteer lawyers or supervised student lawyers.
Operating Hours
We currently operate from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm each Wednesday evening. Attendance is by appointment only.
